Lucidya becomes the first customer experience platform in the Middle East and Africa to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System Certification

Lucidya, the AI-native customer intelligence platform, announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification, the world's first international standard for AI Management Systems (AIMS).

The certification makes Lucidya the first and only CX platform in the Middle East and Africa region to do so, placing it alongside Microsoft, Google, IBM, AWS, KPMG, and BCG in a global group of fewer than 350 organizations worldwide certified to this newest standard for responsible AI. The certificate, issued by accredited certification body TNV Global Limited, covers Lucidya's AI-native CXM solutions for customer and market data analysis.

ISO/IEC 42001 was published in December 2023 by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission. It is the newest, most demanding global benchmark for AI governance, covering risk management, transparency, and accountability across the AI lifecycle.

Within CX specifically, certified platforms remain rare. Only a handful of global vendors, including Zendesk and Genesys, have achieved ISO 42001 to date, putting Lucidya in an elite company.

For Lucidya customers, this certification means their data is governed under the highest international AI management standards available today, and that Lucidya's AI systems are built to be transparent, accountable, and free from bias by design. It also means staying ahead of the curve rather than playing catch-up, since the platform is already aligned with global regulation, including the EU AI Act.

This certification is not just a milestone for Lucidya and the region. It sets a new bar for how customer experience platforms across MEA build, govern, and earn trust in AI.
