How to Apply and Save Filters in Social Listening
Learn how to apply temporary or saved filters in Social Listening to narrow down data for analysis without reapplying the same configuration each time.
Filters in Social Listening let you narrow down data to what is relevant to your analysis. You can apply filters temporarily for a one-time view or save them to reuse the same configuration without setting it up again each time.
Step 1. Open Filters
Click the Filters option in the main section you are working in. This is available in most Social Listening views.
Step 2. Select Your Filters
Choose the filters you want to apply from the available categorization options.
Step 3. Apply or Save
To apply the filters for the current session only, click Apply. A warning icon will appear next to any items that do not meet the selected filter criteria, indicating they have been excluded from the view.
To save the filters for repeated use, click Save and Apply instead. This stores the filter configuration so you can reopen it without selecting the same options again.
