Data Latency

My Posts: Every 3 hours. Posts are fetched every 3 hours, but if a comment appears before the next fetch, the related post is retrieved immediately.
Comments & Replies: Near real time (TikTok sometimes takes 5–15 minutes to review).
Post Mentions & Comment Mentions: 2–3 hours.

Metrics Availability:

TikTok makes historical backfill data available for up to 60 days prior to the API request time for Account Metrics (Daily Total Followers, Daily New Followers, Daily Lost Followers).

For Post Metrics: when historical posts are retrieved, the latest available metrics are fetched. If a post was created within 30 days before the historical request, its metrics will continue to be updated for the remainder of the 30-day period from the post creation date.

Example: If a post was created on 10 March and the historical request is made on 15 March, the post metrics will continue to be updated for the next 25 days.

Creating a Managed Account Monitor is only available for TikTok Business accounts. Make sure your account is set to Business before connecting it to Lucidya.

Frequently asked questions

Why do TikTok metrics have a 24–48 hour delay?

This is a TikTok API limitation. Daily metrics are subject to a 24–48 hour latency on TikTok's side before they're available to Lucidya.

How far back can I retrieve TikTok data when I first connect an account?

Up to 2 years of backfill coverage for Account Posts, including Comments and Replies. Account metrics are available for up to 60 days prior to the API request.

Can I monitor a personal TikTok account?

No. Creating a TikTok Managed Account Monitor is only available for TikTok Business accounts.

Is the spam option supported for TikTok Public and Keyword monitoring?

No. Lucidya does not support the spam option or spam interactions for TikTok Public Account and Keyword monitoring.
